Uber is looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join the Lisbon team, focusing on supporting the employee population in the EMEA region. As part of the People Experience & Operations team, you’ll be the go-to person between different HR areas, helping answer employee questions and connecting them with the right people when needed. What'll be your mission? - Provide on-site support at our Lisbon office; - Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues through our global employee platform (ServiceNow); - Manage EMEA-wide tasks, such as employment verification letters, medical checks, and ensuring compliance with local legislation; - Run regular audits, ensure data integrity, and create reports; - Coordinate with employees, managers, HR teams, and external stakeholders to handle employment-related processes; - Assist with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks within the People Operations Team; - Identify and improve operational weaknesses within the region, and support or manage projects aimed at enhancing employee lifecycle processes to keep up with Uber’s growth. What are we looking for? - Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field; - 2-3 years of experience in a People/HR Operations role within a high-growth tech company or large organization; - Basic understanding of EMEA employment laws and their impact on HR matters; - Experience with Workday (HRIS) and/or ticketing systems, aswell as Excel or Google Sheets; - Strong customer service and administrative skills; - Basic project management and stakeholder management skills; - Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese, with additional language skills (e.g., French) being a plus.
