Description:As the Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture, build changes, and maintenance of test automation frameworks for CPE/STB/Web/Mobile/APIs to support our digital infrastructure as part of our continuous integration/deployment pipeline.
Role
Contribute to test definition and execution;
Contribute to writing test automation scripts;
Contribute to identifying actual or potential problems in CPE components;
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, software, and other network and system problems.
The selected individual will be focused on engineering architecture and development of our internal test automation framework;
Interact with development teams to help implement optimized, re-usable and scalable test automation;
Must Have:
Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or Technical courses;
Knowledge about TCP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, DHCP, DNS. VoIP, Wi-Fi (802.11), OSI Model, Firewall;
Experience using Linux systems (nice to have);
Solid knowledge of Linux and Python is required;
Experience with version Control (GIT);
Familiarity with testing methodology is a plus, but not required;
Ability to take on projects and drive them through completion;
Team player willing to work on a variety of assignments to support our service offering;
