We’re looking for a Mid Java Developer for a British mission-critical software platform purpose-built for automotive and equipment finance providers globally. The successful candidate will join a stream of 6-8 curious and ambitious back-end engineers who are passionately working on building an outstanding brand across Europe and worldwide, having a great learning opportunity to contribute to software projects.

Requirements:

– 2+ years of professional experience in Java

– Experience with Eclipse/IntelliJ

– Experience with JUnit and Selenium

– Experience with RDBMS or SQL DBs (Postgres, Oracle)

– Strong problem-solving skills

– Strong team working and communication skills

– English min. B2 level

Nice to have:

– Knowledge of Portuguese language

– Experience with Maven build tool

– Experience with Hibernate

– Experience with Mockito

Responsibilities:

– Solving problems to enhance flagship product

– Translating client’s business requirements into incremental value-adding deliverables

– Growing the great ideas and creating a positive impact on colleagues, clients, and the communities organisation touches

– Using Agile and related methodologies

– Following TDD and other best practices to continuously improve our standards

– Collaborating on and contributing to open source projects
