Eipeople is the recruitment partner of a prestigious company that operates in the cannabis pharmaceutical industry.

As the recruitment partners, we are currently recruiting a IT/Automation Infrastructure Manager to join to their Business Services Centre, located in Mação.

Mission:

Be responsible for the planning, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of IT systems and personnel. Maintain and develop standards, procedures and specifications for process automation/IT in compliance with internal and external guidelines. Plan and manage new equipment recipes and operations development and upgrade. Invest in continuous improvement and innovation. Opportunity to lead IT Infrastructure strategy and build a small team.

Education Requirements:

University degree, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science/ Engineering or any related field with at least 8 years of relevant working experience, to fulfil all the responsibilities, from a pharmaceutical environment (mandatory);

Work Experience:

Preferably 3 years of experience in any related Industry;
Relevant experience in installation management or equipment qualification and electronic/automation preferably with a focus in chemical plants or Pharmaceutical industry;
Experience in network equipment, network links (internet, LAN, WAN), wireless solution, UC, VC and network security;
Experience in servers in Windows environment and Service Desk;
Expertise in data centre management and data governance;
Ability to direct the diagnosis of work flow problems, critical paths and institute remedies;

Knowledge Requirements:

Professional experience in process control using solutions such as: defining equipment user interfaces, control logic, alarms and interlocks, PID tuning, electronic batch recipes, multi-variable advanced process control;
Good technical knowledge if managed network appliances, LAN/WAN, routing technologies, switches, VLAN, access control list, SNMP, IP Networking, wireless, UC, VOIP and security products;
Good computer skills (office software tools, preferably with computer programming knowledge: Sequential Flow Charts and Function Block diagrams, Visual Basic, Mathematical software packages);
Fluent in English written and spoken;
Project management, coordination, communication, and leadership skills;
Team spirit, initiative, dynamism, and creativity;
Root cause analysis / problem-solving skills;
Knowledge of technology solutions especially with Microsoft Technology will be an advantage;
Experience in servers in Windows environment and Service Desk;
Need hands on skills for Infrastructure Management for an enterprise with 55 end users and multi geographical location;

Main Accountabilities

Plan, implement, manage and control all aspects of Information Technology Infrastructure;
Equipment automation design: user interfaces, control logic, alarms, interlocks; Participating in Design Reviews, FMEA and HAZOP meetings;
Collaborates across functional areas – Interprets, presents, and delivers information with product team members, scientists, engineers, and other systems service personnel;
Documenting and Managing Change – Justifies changes, quality and regulatory information, and manufacturing readiness information;
Participate in Equipment commissioning and qualification activities (e.g. FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ) and conduct verification activities as required by site change control program;
Meet the global group’s IT requirements including Telecommunications Facilities, IT Network and Systems to support;
Develop Disaster Recovery/ Business Continuity;
Involve in project management for IT related projects;
Manage, amend and maintain all relevant SOPs;
Perform internal security reviews and risk assessment;
Protect and defend the Company from Cyber threats and prevent any security incidents Drive security awareness programs within the company;

Job Complexity

Guarantee GACP ad cGMP compliance in all activities and systems related to the projects execution, according to Company Quality policy, in quest of a continuous improvement of the Quality system efficiency and effectiveness;

Must possess police clearance;

Job Decisions

Approve suppliers and IT/Automation related documentation (including communication reports);
Develop and review / approve specification, testing document templates, as well as internal and standard operating procedures (IOP, SOP);
Lead IT Infrastructure strategy and build a small team;

A Salary between 1500€ and 1800€ per month.
